Striaria sp., mating pair, showing a few strands of silk attaching them to the bark. The male is on the left and the female on the right; notice that they are not lined up head-to-head because segment 7 of the male, the one with the copulatory structures or "gonopods" has to make contact with segment 3 of the female, where the oviducts open through structures called "cyphopods."
